Community churches, friends, family, politicians and clergy filled the BMBC sanctuary to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during the Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Celebration on January 17, 2010. Jazz saxophonist Alan Glover and jazz ensemble: guitarist William Hopson, pianist Dale Davenport and drummer Robert Ashley created a jazz vespers environment that wowed and wooed the audience.
