Sunday, October 11, 2009 3:00pm - The Dedication Service. The congregation will view the unveiling of the cornerstone, ribbon cutting ceremony, and other ceremonial events before entering the house "Built to the Glory of God" and being greeted by the Founders. The focus of the dedication service will be the Prayer of Consecration of the worship sacraments - Altar Bible, Altar, and the Communion Table.

Saturday, November 7, 2009 10:00am - 4:00pm - The congregation and the public are invited to participate in group tours of Bethel's "Glory to God Sanctuary," which will be conducted each half hour beginning at 10:00am with the last tour at 3:30pm; tours will end at 4:00pm. On the lower level, church exhibits and a continuous running video will be shown. Light refreshments will be available to be enjoyed on the lower level.

| New Church Opens Doors to Community
Wappingers Falls, NY, November 1, 2009 - Bethel Missionary Baptist Church continues "Celebrating the Miracle" with an Open House and Guided Tours on Saturday, November 7, 2009 followed by a Service of Thanksgiving on Sunday, November 8, 2009. The events will take place at 2607 South Avenue on the corner of Prospect Place in Wappingers Falls.
During the Open House and Guided Tours, scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2009, 10:00am - 4:00pm, visitors will be guided through the newly constructed three-level edifice by docent members of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church (BMBC) Black History Ministry.
"Visitors will enter the main foyer and receive a pass for a tour starting at 10:00am. Two groups of up to the people each will be guided through the church building by docents every 30 minutes. The last tour starts at 3:30pm," says Jacquelyn Harper, one of the docents. "Also, exhibits will be on display in the basement along with a video presentation that captures the heart -- the people and the place -- of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church."
