Monday, February 20 - Feeding the Homeless - The Deaconess Ministry will be cooking and serving this month. Please see a member of the Missionary Ministry if you have not signed up for your month in 2012. There are still available months for your ministry. Servers are asked to be at shelter by 7:00pm. Serving begins at 7:30pm.
Wednesdays 6:45pm - 7:45pm Bible Study, Deacon Pleasants will be teaching the month of February, Prayers in Matthew. Followed by Prayer and Praise 7:45pm led by Trustees for month of February.
Saturday, February 11 - 10:00am-2:00pm - Mid Hudson Love INC will hold its 3rd Annual Cookie Walk at Poughkeepsie United Methodist Church, 2381 New Hackensack Rd, Poughkeepsie. Select your favorite cookies from over 400 dozen. Donation - $8.00/pound. Also looking for bakers, 'specialty' cookies needed. Sign-up sheet is in the vestibule. Cookies must be at PUMC on Friday, February 10 betrween 4:00pm and 7:00pm.
Special Invitation! "An Overview of Black History - World and US" will be offered two Sundays, February 19 & 26 for youth in Grades 9-12. The sessions will be in the Multi-purpose Room during Sunday School hour (9:30pm-10:30am). Each presentation is designed to be informative, stimulating and fun.
Saturday, February 25 - 6:00pm - Glory to God Sanctuary - "Night of Gospel Music and Comedy" will be a night of fun, fellowship and laughter. A night for all ages from the community, young and old alike to come together and fill their hearts with laughter and souls with joy, all while benefiting the Youth Choir Ministry. The suggested donations are $12.00 Students/Seniors (Blue) Tickets and $20.00 Adults (Ivory) Tickets.
