To minister to the women and girls of the church, assist the Pastor and the Deacons, to magnify and uphold the dignity of the Church by participation in Worship and Ordinances, mission and visitation for special needs of children, senior citizens, women, widows, and orphans through discipleship and a spiritual growth of development program.

An Afternoon of Tea & Crumpets
Women can get so busy that they forget about themselves. Women plan to rest and relax, get together with a friend, but often times family, work and church life creates an overloaded calendar. However, the Deaconess Ministry has discovered one event that brings busy women together for fellowship sans responsibility: The Annual Ladies Tea, which is held the second Sunday in October. Last year, the tea was rescheduled for October19 and the
afternoon blossomed with laughter, a variety of tea, finger sandwiches and dessert, as well as a poetry reading, a vocal and a piano rendition. For some, women, each
required to bring their favorite cup or mug, this was their first tea and for
others their fifth.
